Kanan Shuttle

The Kanan Shuttle offers a free and convenient transportation option for residents and visitors in Thousand Oaks. Operating seven days a week, the Kanan Shuttle connects key locations along the Kanan Road corridor, providing easy access to schools, shopping centers, and recreational areas.

Using the Kanan Shuttle is easy:

  1. Locate Your Shuttle Stop: Find the nearest Kanan Shuttle stop using our route map.
  2. Boarding the Shuttle: Wait at the designated stop and board when the shuttle arrives. No fare is required.
  3. During the Ride: Enjoy a comfortable ride. If you need assistance, inform the driver.
  4. Exiting the Shuttle: Signal the driver as your stop approaches and exit through the designated door.

Summer Beach Shuttle

Make your summer trips to the beach effortless with the Summer Beach Bus. This seasonal service provides direct transportation from Thousand Oaks to Zuma and Ventura Harbor Beaches allowing you to relax and enjoy your beach day without the hassle of driving and parking.

Operating Months: June 17 through August 10

Days of Operation: Monday-Saturday and Holidays

Pickup Locations: Teen Center and Borchard Community Center

Destination Locations: Zuma Beach (Monday-Friday),  Harbor Village and Harbor Beach Cove (Saturday)

Fare Cost
General Fare: $4.00 roundtrip
Seniors aged 65 and older, and persons with disabilities: $1.00 roundtrip

Tickets can be purchased onboard the bus or in advance through the online ticketing system.
